O2Water

Oxygenated Water & Athletic Performance

We all know that hydration is key to athletic performance, but did you know that the quality of your water can also be important? Zoltán Kammerer, an Olympic athlete who has won three gold medals and one silver medal, attributes much of his success to regular consumption of oxygenated water, which he says leads to better athletic performance and recovery.

By drinking oxygenated water, you are taking in more oxygen than you would otherwise. This helps you recover faster from workouts and helps your muscles perform better during training.

The effects of consuming oxygenated water have been studied extensively in athletes and found to be positive. One study found that "the ingestion of [oxygenated] water resulted in a significant increase in VO2max, aerobic power output (Wmax), maximal workload (Wmax), peak power output (Ppeak), submaximal work rate (WR') and blood lactate concentration."

In other words: Oxygenated water boosts athletic performance!
